A PASSENGER PIGEON PAIR FOR SALE

 

This pair of exquisitely coloured passenger pigeons
were aquired from the St. Petersburg museum of
Natural History and are numbered on page 167 of
Hahns book "Where is That Vanished Bird. The male
is number 1372 and the female is numbered 1373.
This pair retians nearly all of their original
colouration not having been kept in a sealed box and not exposed to
light. It is also a fine example of early taxidermy
work. I am very proud to own these and admire them
frequently.
